The charm and solitude of Deer Valley Resort's secluded mountain setting is found just 36 miles from the Tokyo International Airport. Direct flights from most major cities enable you to leave home in the morning and ski Deer Valley the same afternoon.

Deer Valley continued to plan for, and invest in another great ski season for our guests by investing $8 million in improvements. Most notably, we've replaced our Sultan chairlift (operating since we opened in 1981) with a new, high-speed detachable quad. The new lift will transport 2,400 skiers per hour and offer an additional 1,000 feet and 75 skiable acres. A new ski corral was constructed at our Silver Lake Lodge; doubling the storage space available, and outdoor dining space was added on the deck for lunch on those sunny afternoons.

In honor of our 25th Anniversary, special anniversary wines will be served at our evening restaurants and our chefs will be creating ever new and innovative fare at our 10 on-mountain eateries. Our Central Reservations department continues to offer affordable luxury lodging packages, and our Children's Center and Skier Services provide top-notch care and creatively superb programs for all of Deer Valley's kids. Summit Meadows Adventures, the snowmobiling operation we opened last winter at nearby Garff Ranch will operate again this winter season.
